SERPENTS OF KHAOS
The “Serpents of Khaos” series was born in 2020 from the fusion of timeless Asian mythologies and pandemic-induced lessons about creativity. Add to this mix the influence of music composed by oft-underrepresented composers (women, Asians, Asian women), and together these elements form a paradise in which all things are possible (“Khaos”). Within this realm of possibility are guardians (the “Serpents”) – inspired by the Nagas from the Mahabharata, the nine legendary dragons from Chinese mythology, among others – who protect, treasure and uphold the truths that make up the core of who we are.
