Day 30 of 50: I am enchanted by Adina Izarra, Venezuelan composer, and her “Remedios La Bella.”
Listening to “Remedios La Bella,” I become a Woman without a care for the tangible world. Instead, I revel in what I cannot touch, cannot see, but can deeply feel deep within my gut as I slip between dreams that are neither here nor there… spanning across opposing worlds. I flit beyond one boundary only to see the layers of possibility unwrap like a tantalizing piece of candy, waiting for my enjoyment.
