Day 42 of 50: Today, I am inspired by Bun-Ching Lam, Chinese composer from Macau, and her “Awazu on a Fine Breezy Day” for dizi, flute, harp, guzheng, viola, and erhu.
Listening to “Awazu on a Fine Breezy Day,” I hear myself sigh in pure enjoyment, my shoulders relaxing in welcome of sublime harmony. Too soon is it over, the breeze whispering into my ear a promise of another day, filled with blossoms alighting on my nose and which smell of the sea, unadulterated liberty.
