Day 21 of 50: I am captivated by Hiba Al Kawas, Lebanese composer, and her “Li’anni Ahya” for voice and orchestra.
Listening to “Li’anni Ahya,” I feel wings unfurling from an enchanted place in my mind… and off I go, flying far and wide, reveling in the uncanny beauty of this universe. Towards the light I reach, encircling 1000 suns, watching as the clouds disperse and the sea glitter, its magic scattered across the sky.
