Day 7 of 50: I’m inspired by Pamela Z, Black composer, and her “Quatre Couches” for solo voice and electronics.
Listening to “Quatre Couches,” I am drawn in by the fluttering vibrations, coiled one atop another… I hold the end of a string as I meander the expanse of a sonic labyrinth, treading upon and slipping through many layers as though passing through air. An enthralling maze, and I am Ariadne.
