Day 47 of 50: I am inspired by Eva Ayllón, Afro-Peruvian composer, and her song, “Soy Esclavo de Tu Amor.”
Listening to “Soy Esclavo de Tu Amor,” I am swept up in flames of yearning, reaching precariously into the Unknown to grasp the light so high above within me. Dazzling, so close, yet leagues away where dreams come alive in a midsummer’s eve. My heart blooms knowing that one day I’ll arrive there, beyond all suffering and into persistent paradise.
