Day 23 of 50: Today, I find myself captivated by Suad Bushnaq, multicultural film music composer from Canada with Bosnian, Syrian, and Palestinian roots, and her “Treasure كنز” for solo piano.
Listening to “Treasure كنز,” I feel the cosmos sweeping its magic in rivulets across the Earth ~ Hope and Promise, Stamina and Perseverance. A feather-dusting of Grit that grows into an avalanche of “I will overcome.” All this given with absolute grace, the rivulets lingering between our fingers and at the corners of our eyes. A true treasure indeed.
